Minimum Stay

  • A minimum stay of 2 nights is required on Fridays and Saturdays during the high and peak seasons (1 October – 30 April).
  • A minimum stay of 2 nights also applies during the peak holiday period from mid-December to mid-January.

Children

  • Families are welcome at 5 Seasons Guesthouse.
  • Please note that children should be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
  • The swimming pool is not supervised and does not have controlled access or a lifeguard. Guests use the pool entirely at their own risk.

15:00 – 18:00

Late arrivals can be accommodated by prior arrangement.

Check-out

By 11:00.

Early check-ins and late departures may be arranged in advance and are subject to availability.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival will forfeit 50% of the total booking value.
  • Cancellations made within 15 days of arrival will forfeit 25% of the deposit.

Payment Terms

  • Reservations must be secured by EFT or a valid credit card payment (Payfast) upon receipt of the invoice.
  • Visa and credit card facilities are available at the guesthouse. Unfortunately, Mastercard is not accepted.
  • A 50% deposit is payable within 48 hours of making a reservation.
  • The remaining balance is payable on the day of arrival.
  • Bookings made within 7 days of arrival require full payment at the time of booking.
  • A minimum stay of 2 nights applies during peak season.
  • 5 Seasons Guesthouse reserves the right to cancel a reservation should payment terms not be met.
  • Rates are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Guests are strongly encouraged to obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover medical expenses, theft, personal loss, cancellations and curtailments.

Excluded from the Room Rate

The accommodation rate excludes:

  • Lunch and dinner
  • Beverages
  • Transfers

Our team will gladly assist with restaurant recommendations and reservations. Many of Stellenbosch’s excellent restaurants are just a short drive away.

Important Information

5 Seasons Guesthouse is committed to sustainable hospitality and is equipped with a solar power system and solar geysers to help reduce our environmental impact.

Although the guesthouse continues to operate during periods of load shedding, South Africa’s electricity supply occasionally requires us to limit the use of high-demand appliances such as air conditioning while the battery system is in operation. These limitations are temporary and generally last no longer than the duration of a typical load-shedding cycle.

Guests are welcome to make use of the swimming pool and outdoor areas throughout the day while the battery system recharges.
